End (Historical Site)
Once renowned
for the riches of its gold mines, Hill End today provides us with
a snapshot of what life was like in an 1870's mining and commercial
centre. Hill End is accessible by road from Mudgee (72km) and Bathurst,
either via Turondale - Eglington (77km) or Sofala (84km).
